Whether you are a sports fan or Boxing fan in particular, now is the time to put aside your TV remote get up off the sofa and stand side by side in support of Shane Mosley, The Diamond’s Love Foundation and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.   Cancer is no different than any other opponent. We need to approach Cancer as you would any other fighter that would do you harm.  You need to break it down as you would any other fighter by using consistent pressure, break down it’s strengths, exploit it’s weaknesses, and then go for the knockout…

Let’s face it folks “Cancer doesn’t discriminate” and has touched all of us in one fashion or another. We may have family that has been affected, friends, colleagues, favorite entertainers or acquaintances that have all been touched by this deadly disease.  No one escapes…

We may have disagreed in the past with varied opinions regarding the Boxing world.  This is one time I believe we should all agree. Obviously not all of us will be able to attend the “Boxing for the Cure” event but that should not stop us from joining together to fight this disease. We can support by spreading the word, donating to the Diamonds Love Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and The American Cancer Society.  If you have free time you can volunteer your time to your local hospitals, or by simply offering support to someone in need and possibly even run a fundraising event for the cure.

“Sugar” Shane Mosley, “Great champion”  “Great cause…”
